801 was an English experimental rock band originally formed in London in 1976 with only four live concerts. Members were Brian Eno, Phil Manzanera, Bill MacCormick, Francis Monkman, Simon Phillips, and Lloyd Watson.
Brian Eno appeared for keyboards and backing vocals. He was a part of a band so you can guess all of them were learning and experimenting.
It’s nice to know at the time of release, Brian was 28 years old. Also, I think he was working on other projects in that year.
